Sichuan Tianfu Agro-Product Trading Center by TME and SPSMC in Progress

A signing ceremony for Tianfu Mercantile Exchange (TME) and Sichuan Provincial Supply and Marketing Cooperatives (SPSMC) to set up Sichuan Tianfu Agricultural Product Trading Center was successfully held on January 9, 2017. Director Qing Lidong and Chairman Liu Angsheng signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement on behalf of the two sides. Definitely, the agreement will play a positive role in fully implementing the transformation and upgrading of modern agriculture, achieving targeted poverty alleviation, and promoting the development of green ecology in Sichuan Province.
In accordance with general requirements for deepening up the reform in terms of supply side structural reform in agriculture, and in line with the basic principles of focusing on agriculture, serving the people, and implementing an online supplying and marketing, both sides agree that Sichuan Tianfu Agricultural Product Trading Center will adopt the operation mode of “Internet plus Agricultural plus Finance”, with agricultural products and the relevant production materials as a core, and closely linked to agricultural food safety and modern circulation, giving full play to the advantages of both sides, sparing no effort in building up a new supplying and marketing system for the agricultural products, and promoting a scientific development of agriculture, rural areas, and farmers.
