Soybean meal refers to a byproduct of soy, from which soybean oil is extracted. Generally soybean meal appears in irregular fragments, color ranging from light yellow to light brown, and smells a roasted soybean flavor. Ingredients of soybean meal consist of 40% ~ 48% protein, 2.5% ~ 3.0% lysine, 0.6% ~ 0.7% tryptophan, and 0.5% ~ 0.7% methionine.
